  5. The Accounts Payable system provides up-to-date information on purchases made,
  6. cash required and cash disbursed. The system maintains complete information of
  7. each vendor including whether that vendor is to receive a 1099 Form. Vendor
  8. information also includes history of current purchases, year-to-date purchases
  9. and total paid to vendor. The system automatically posts invoices for recurring
  10. charges, either fixed or variable. Recurring purchases and expenses such as
  11. rent, utilites, phone service are maintained in a recurring charges file and
  12. can be posted on demand. The system prints a purchases journal, aged list of
  13. accounts payable, and cash requirements report. When invoices have been
  14. selected for payment, a check register is printed. Corrections, additions, and
  15. deletions may be made to the check register before checks are printed. Users
  16. can format output to 1099 Forms.
